100+ other people know it's not "all in your head" Please join me in keeping it real.

Yer story is, in some ways, very similar to mine. I did not suffer from childhood as you have, though. Many of your symptoms are like mine, and all of  the symptoms have gotten worse the last three years.

I, too, suspect a past head injury. I'm a 45 year old,  6'6" 235 pound Veteran Marine. I'm not lazy by any means. In the past, I could pick up a fully grown man and hold him over my head for as long as I wanted. Let him struggle all he wanted!  In the past, I could outwork any three men in a day. Now, it's all I can do to pull myself out of bed in the morning. Three hours later, I'm ready for a nap.

Most days, I'm sleepy all of the time. I demand that things around me are neat and orderly. Hell, I can barely pick up after myself, and the chores can wait. It's about all I can to do make myself a pot of coffee some days.

Headaches, nausea, dizziness, lightheadedness, balance: "No, officer, I'm not drunk. I walk like this all the time!" Every activity that I used to enjoy has gone by the wayside. and like you, ask me what I'm thinking, I'm just liable to tell you! The pain I experience doesn't seem to be as bad as yours, but it does put a damper on things. I  can no longer work in my flower garden except to make sure that it's getting enough water. Next year, it's going to look like crap.

My memory is absolutely gone. My mind is covered in teflon now. I can't remember anything. Often I forget what I'm talking about in the middle of a sentence. I had an IQ of 130. Now it's under 115. To pass there other psych tests, I have to concentrate very hard and use every stratagem that I can think of to remeber the questions and which question I' m answering. The only way I am sure of what day it is, is to constantly ask my wife, then double check on the computer and the newspaper...then I forget and have to start all over again. That's frightening. There's more, but that's enough for now, I reckon.

Thanks fer lettin' me rant.
