Go Gluten Free!!!
"Oh My God! I started the gluten free diet on Sunday and I cannot tell you how much better I feel! Like a whole new person...Thanks for the tip!"
Your Diet

I have noticed through the years of going to brain tumor conferences most people have problems with their midsection. I don't think it has much to do with what we eat or don't eat that makes us all that way but after years of not eating properly I have finally figured out that the things that make it easier to live in my body the best is to eat organically grown foods and this includes milk. Soy is even better because it breaks down in your body easier.

Some tips:

  • Fish, Fish and Fish
  • Start taking B6 now for those pins and needles
  • Coenzyme Q-10 for brain function
  • Flax oil
  • Drink Aloe if you are pre-op

After realizing that this is also a nerve disease I came to the conclusion that eating foods rich in fish oils and good fats coat the nerves leaving them feeling lush. Foods rich in Amino Acids are also a boost to the immune system and help restore nutrients to the muscles that are being taken away from in order for your body to fight your disease.

You should not eat refined sugars as they take away from your immune system and you need to be building up your immune system especially when you have brain surgery to fight against viruses and other diseases. Try substituting Sugar in the Raw or Honey. Do not use Sugar Substitutes or artificial sweeteners as they tax your system to a greater degree.

Stay away from beer and red wine. Nitrates are bad for you. If you feel the need to imbibe drink hard liquor straight. The clearer the better.

Organically Grown foods are best for you.

Garlic and Ginger are known throughout the world as excellent promoters of health.
Vitamin A is something to swear off of because it causes Cerebral Spinal Fluid to increase in production which can increase the pressure in your head which can lead to stronger headaches.

If you make it you know what you are putting into your own food.

I don't know what the correlation between protein and the fluid inside your head but maybe a diet low in protein might benefit us. This is guess work by the way.

If you must eat chocolate eat real dark chocolate because milk chocolate and malted chocolate are harder on your system. Try not to damage your system by drinking coffee. I think it speeds you up which is dangerous and damaging and hurts your stomach. You need to avoid stimulants as much as possible because your nervous system is already stimulated.

Eat foods that are going to promote heathy bowels. It may sound unappetizing now but by the time syringo has it's evil clutches wrapped around your bowels there will be days all you really want is to have a wonderful BM and if you don't get them then there are stool softners, colon cleansers, enemas and all kinds of fun ways you are going to have to lean how to evacuate your own bowels like massaging them yourself.

"They" think that diuretics are beneficial to you but they aren't because they don't break the blood brain barrier.

A gentleman called me and asked me why I didn't promote drinking lots of water either and that's because the more you drink the more pressure you put in your system and the higher your intercrainal pressure increases. The less water you drink the more blood you have circulating. I read about that on a trepnation website but I don't need any more holes in my head right now, thanks.
